1. Change the password of your router

7. MAC-Address Filtering
If you have a fixed number of devices connecting to your router, then the best way forward is MAC address filtering. MAC address is a deviceâ€™s unique network address. With MAC filtering you can allow only specific MAC addresses to access the WiFi. This way you can further secure your network apart from the above seven steps.
